A CITY PRESENTATION

1. Choose a city:
   New York/New Orleans/Los Angeles/London/Berlin/Madrid/Barcelona/
   Rome/Amsterdam/Beijing/Mumbai/Sydney/Cairo/Dubai/Mexico City//Cape Town/Rio de Janeiro/Moscow/Vienna/Tokyo.

2. Work in pairs (?)

3. Make a ppp of the city and explain in class to your classmates.

Make sure that the following aspects are included in your ppp

1. Where is it?
2. Population.
3. Weather
4. Public transportation
5. History
6. Entertainment: going out/sports/fun.
7. Culture: Museums, theatre, etc
8. Famous people.
9. Economy and jobs
10. People's character
    
      
    Guidelines:
    
    1. Students are to work in pairs.
    2. We'll use the LD hour on Tuesdays to search information and photos.
    3. Students must agree on which part of the project each one will do at home.
    4. Tuesday 4 March is the deadline for students to do their search work. On that day, they are expected to put everything together in class on a Power Point  Presentation. 
    5. On this Tuesday, we'll decide on the calendar to do the presentations.
    
    Work Strategy (as suggested by the teacher)
    
    1. To find the correct information, use the right search words.
    
    2. Copy the relevant texts and photos and save them in a file for later use.
    
    3. Make sure that you find information about every aspect of your city given by the teacher.
    
    4. Now, put your chosen stuff on the PPP together.
    
    5. Get ready to do the presentation in English to the class.
